Policy of the Month
- Course Withdrawal
Learners may withdraw from courses in which they have enrolled after consultation with their e-advisors; and ensuring that they maintain the required minimum load. Withdrawal from course(s) must occur no later than the fourth week from the start of the semester.
A grade of ‘W’ will be recorded on the learner’s transcript for the course(s) from which s/he has withdrawn, if the withdrawal was implemented within the deadlines mentioned in the academic calendar. The W grade is not computed in learner’s GPA and AGPA.
Learners who do not apply for withdrawal within the specified deadline are expected to attend all the courses they have enrolled in and fulfill their requirements. If they fail to do so a ‘WF’ grade equivalent 0. 00 grade point will be placed on the transcript and will be calculated in learner’s GPA and AGPA unless a valid reason is presented to the Office of Admission and Registration for not attending such courses, in such cases a WP grade is awarded to the learner.
