Who is Jamila Behzad? And what is the personal story you have to tell?
My name is Jamila Ahmad Behzad. I am from Dubai and studying Bachelor of Arts in Business and Quality Management at Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University and this is my second year. I have a Diploma in Applied Information Technology Skills.
What are your Hobbies?
My hobbies are: graphic designing, photographing and poetry.
How would you describe the university?
This university is as my second home, and it is a place where I can share my knowledge and skills with other learners.
What are your personal goals and objectives for future?
My personal goals and objectives for the future are to be success in my personal life and get a good position in my career life.
What kind of learning environmental attracts you?
The virtual learning environment attracts me, because I prefer the virtual learning environment, and we are now in a new world and people keep looking for ways which make their lives easier.
In which activities and events did you participate at HBMe-U?
I am a member of Learner Council and I am a Vice President of the Public Relation Committee. I am trying to manage my time well to participate in various events, activities and workshops. Last year myself and my team members participated as a one team in organizing some events, such as: Rekaz (Faz), e-Health, End-of-Year Gathering 2009 and e-Games. It was a new experience for me and I have learnt a lot from them.
What are your goals and objectives as a Self-Development Community Vice-President?
My goals and objectives as a Vice President of the Public Relation Committee at the university is to enhance my skills and encourage other learners to participate in various events, activities and workshops which will gives them experience to accomplish in their personal lives and workplace.
What are your last words to HBMe-U learners and staff?
I will say for the learners keep up the hard work and I wish you all the best in your studies.
