Faculty - Human Resource Management- Main Role

The Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University is a highly motivated, energetic team of Business Scholars and academicians who are working diligently on blended learning model. The university currently offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Business and Quality Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational Excellence, Innovation and Change Management, Entrepreneurial Leadership and Project Management.
The university is experiencing tremendous growth and is currently accepting applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professors to teach Human Resource Management in the e-School of Business and Quality Management.
Responsibilities shall include:
* Teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses through the use of blended learning approach.

The primary duty of a school Secretary is to provide highly efficient and responsible administrative and logistic support to the school i.e. Dean, Faculty's, Program Director in particular in their day to day operational activities viz.
- Ensure university brand is well positioned through the services offered to learners and other clients.
- Provide secretarial support to school council and other committees by preparing agenda, organizing venues, taking minutes, disseminating necessary information, following up on assigned actions, etc.
- Co-ordinate with other departments for new program submission, accreditation processes and visits.
- Handle school related purchases and its related processes effectively in compliance with the university established guidelines.
- Maintain proper filing and records management.
- Participate and Assist in university/School events, Conferences, Forum, open days, orientation session, workshops, end semester and other school events and related logistics, etc.
- Organize travel and related arrangements for school guests
- Create and update school internal academic calendar.
- Requirements
- Minimum Bachelors degree in any discipline from an accreditated university with a minimum of one year experience in a similar field/environment. Excellent computer application knowledge is preferred.

He/She will be responsible for QA testing of all web and desktop applications including usability testing, bug testing, requirements conformity testing, dev guideliness conformity testing, application stress testing, etc related to quality assurance. In addition, will be responsbile for creating test plans, track QA metrics, review of documentation, recommend development and improvement processes and raise awareness on usability and accessibility. The position holder will also be responsible to enhance the QA processess and to ensure appropriate guideliness are followed in compliance with software development standards of HBMeU.
- Requirements

- Masters in Computer Science or related technical degree with 2 years of related system analysis, development and software quality assurance experience OR
- Bachelors Degree with 5 years of similar job experience.
- Proven technical certification in software architecture and design is a pre-requisite
- Knowledge of automated testing tools is mandatory.

The Receivable Accountant will be responsible for all learner related payment collection or accounts which includes:
- To collect Course Enrollment fee/payment from the existing or new Learner's and follow up with them for the delayed payment or returned cheque payment if any, as per the HBMeU Admission and Registration Guidelines.
- To collect book payment as per the LRM delivery note.
- To update the Admission and Registration Portal on the enrollment and registration fee periodically and ensure timely and appropriate information posting.
- To Liaise with organization and Admission and Registration Office for Scholarship, Invoice and related letters/reports.
- To participate in learner's related and special events of the HBMeU for fee/payment collection.
- To monitor and provide weekly and monthly receivable report to Finance Manager.
- To deposit cash in bank on daily basis or as per Finance Manager advise.
- To manage proper documentation and filing and follow up with learner's and other customers on the outstanding payment issues if any.
- Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting with one or two years of experience in a similar role. Excellent command in Arabic and English both verbal and written is preferred.

The position holder will be responsible for design and delivery of software solutions aligned to the business goals in achieving the university vision. Essential responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide university-wide architectural guidance, monitor and train team members.
- Develop action & implementation plans for design and development of software applications.
- Design the optimized solution using benchmarking the best practices available in the market.
- Evaluate, identify and recommended system platform, compenents and dependencies, like hardware, software,third party solutions.
- Contribute in defining development standards for the university.
- Review processes for determining the requirements by conducting interviews, questionnaires, etc and propose ideas for impriovement of existing,new projects and for automated processes.
- Develop code and ensure meets the coding standards.

- Masters degree in Computer Science or related technical degree or Bachelors with not less than 7 years of experience in a similar role or in a project managenement and software development area. CAPM and MCTS certification is a MUST. Hands on experience in VB Net, C#, JavaScript, VB Script, HTML, CSS, XML, XSL/XSLT, SOAP, ADO/ADO.Net, ASP, ASP.Net, Java, VS, NET 2003/2005/2008/2010, MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, SharePoint Portal Server 2003/2007, IIS, PHP preferred.

Includes:
- Responding to support requests by using appropriate knowledge bases/logs to inform diagnosis and resolution.
- Perform advanced diagnosis procedures on PCs, Peripherals and applications.
- Advise on compatibility of Hardware, Applications, Operating Systems, etc according to user requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including basic software installations and set ups.
- Troublehsoots and resolve basic network errors and failures from end-user side.
