Purpose

The Centre for e-Learning Excellence (CeLEx) was launched at the beginning of 2008 as a subsidiary of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University. Its main purpose is to promote excellence in e-Learning in the Arab World through leadership, consulting, research and training services related to e-Learning.

CeLEx provides e-Learning focused training and consulting services to clients in the Arab World. Clients of CeLEx may be individuals, enterprises or agencies who have interest in areas, including but not limited to:

• Training - Online modules, courses and certificate programs, in addition to onsite training workshops.
• Consulting - Strategic advice, implementation of innovations, evaluation and impact analysis and ROI analysis.
• Research –Innovations, applications and implications.
• Quality Assurance – Quality criteria and quality certification
• Leadership – Hosting of councils, networks and action committees.
• Events- Conferences, seminars and targeted workshops.
• Support Services – Digitization and membership services
• Products – Toolkits, e-Learning books and materials in both English and Arabic language.
• Information – e-Learning portal, journals, white papers, etc.

The mission of CeLEx is to become the trusted leader for the advice, research, development and implementation of e-Learning in the Arab World.
