Mission

The Academic Research Division is committed to academic excellence in the development and advancement of knowledge through research, scholarship, and creative activity.

Goals

In support of its mission, Academic Research goals are as follows:

• To produce research and creative activities by investing in objectively evaluated proposals from faculty and staff.
• To augment researcher competitiveness by seed funding early stage research projects
• To link research investments with relevant research to the University mission and extramural support outcomes.
• To encourage submission of highly competitive proposals to extramural funding sources.

Objectives

• To engage all Faculty Members in research projects initiated in the University and / or conducted in association with external partner;
• To encourage all faculty members to publish original research on subjects across disciplines that serve the mission of the University in refereed journals, books, conferences, and other related research undertakings;
• To manage editing and e publishing the HBMeU six e International Refereed Journals;
• To activate and Manage the QME portal as global hub for TQM knowledge development and transfer;
• To create wide networks of scholars, Distinguished Visiting Professors and research strategic alliances as nucleus for knowledge development and dissemination;
• To enhance the quality and quantity of the production and distribution of Research initiatives, publications and other pertinent interactive media;
• To Arabize existing programs and their learning resources in support of the specific needs of learners and other clients.
