Mission

To become an Arabization forum, a Centre of Excellence in facilitating learning in Arabic and any other medium preferred by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University learner in specific, and the whole Arab knowledge-keen learners or experts, and to act as a key catalyst for the development and Arabizaion of online current and up to date learning and intellectual improvement resources.

Goals

• To support the translation of programs that Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University intends to deliver to its Arab learner population; and arabize on a continuous basis support materials in the form of periodicals, articles, booklets, reports etc. and to make sure that learners are not disadvantaged by the lack of information in Arabic;
• To ensure that all the converted assessment materials, including formal examinations, and exam transcripts are translated in either/both languages (English and Arabic), scrutinized and approved by Dean for Academic Programs, program directors, respective faculty and representatives from partner institutions;
• To work on building an e-library and e-Glossary in related fields augmented by Arabic information resources to go alongside the already abundant resources available in English;
• To work on a continuous basis with experts and representatives from legislative and partner institutions on matters of quality assurance of Arabization/translation and program integrity;
• To become a brand, a centre of focus for key translators and linguists from the Arab world, where expertise and quality intermix with the main objective to Arabize the latest significant scientific publications, researches and studies, making knowledge available to everyone, in both English and Arabic.
