LRM - Learner Relationship Management

The Learner Relation Management (LRM) office acts as an interface between learners and the various departments and units of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University. It supports and facilitates the learning process by providing the necessary help, advice, and guidance to quickly adapt to the virtual environment.

e-Library and Learning Resources

In order to support the learning experience the Learner Services Unit, in collaboration and consultation with other departments and units across the University; provides learners, faculty and other staff members with access to a vast collection of learning resources and research material.

ELC - English Language Centre

The English Language Center at Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University has enjoyed many years of successful exam results at all levels. Our success is based on hard work of experienced and dedicated staff, a willingness to innovate and ethos predicated on the belief that all learners are entitled to succeed. We can expect the best from Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University learners and they, in turn, can expect the best from us.

e-CAPS - Electronic Career Advising and Placement Services

The primary aim of the electronic Career Advising and Placement Services (e-CAPS) is to bridge the gap between prospective, current, graduate learners, as well as alumni and the professional world through providing them with a wide range of career-related guidance, resources and services.

Online Bookstore

An online book store is developed to allow learners to purchase textbooks, CDs, DVDs and other learning material through the internet. The online bookstore also allows learners to subscribe to newsletters and register in events conducted by the University at discounted rates.

Financial Aid

The Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University runs and administers Financial Aid and Scholarship Programs. The primary purpose of these programs is to help and assist learners achieving their educational goals by availing options for financing their educational endeavors.

Counseling Services

The Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University provides all registered learners with individual and group counseling services. These services are provided through professional counselors available online or on the University campus.

Academic Advising

Academic advising is a core academic service offered to every learner upon registering in one of the University's academic programs. The main objectives of this service are to provide learners with ongoing support and assistance throughout their study period, to assist learners identifying and achieving their academic goals, and to help them in becoming self-directed learners as well as informed decision-makers.

These objectives are achieved by assigning to learners e-advisors whose primary role is to build a strong foundation of information on University’s academic policies and procedures and to answer their different concerns and issues related to their programs of study, courses, internships, grades,  ... etc.

Learners must maintain close contact with their e-advisors all along their studies and particularly during the registration and course enrollment period. Please read the Academic Advising Manual to know more about how you can benefit from this service.


Orientation

Prior to the start of each semester, the University organizes an orientation program, to which all newly admitted learners are strongly encouraged to attend.

Learners ID Card

All current learners of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University are issued an ID card. This card is valid for the entire duration of the study period and serve a number of purposes

Learner Clubs, Organizations and Associations

The Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University encourage and strongly support its learners to establish clubs, associations and organizations that will allow them to pursue their personal interests and hobbies outside the boundaries of the class room and will allow them to enrich their learning experience. Please familiarize with the policies and procedure governing the formation of such clubs and associations.

Online Newsletter

The “Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University Times” is a monthly online newsletter which is sent to learners via email at the end of each month. The e-newsletter helps bridging the gap caused by geographical separation between learners and the University and among learners themselves. It tackles issues related to University news and events and feature stories related to learners, staff, and faculty.

Learners e-Mails and Virtual Space

e-Mail accounts are assigned to all learners upon registration and after issuance of learner’s ID. The Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University also grants its current learners with virtual space on the University server to store their files.
